The University of Tokyo Integrated Research Network – LIMMS KIKO, Laboratories for International Research on Multi-disciplinary Micro Systems.
The LIMMS KIKO engage in the cross disciplinary research on the improvement of the Quality of Life: the mental, physical and cultural effects, addressing the problems in the society with aging and declining population which our country will face earlier than other developed countries by applying the results of international collaborative research in the Micro-nano interdisciplinary fields such as Nanobiology, μTAS, Silicon Neurons, IoT, and Energy Harvester, etc.
LIMMS KIKO, (LIMMS =“Laboratories for International Research on Multi-disciplinary Micro Systems”) was established April 1st 2021 for a period of 10 years and is based on the LIMMS/CNRS-IIS IRL 2820, which has been managed by CNRS and IIS for 25 years as a Japan-France collaborative research center, in order to transcend departmental boundaries and comprehensively bring in the intellectual creativities of the University of Tokyo.
